Based on the standard issue USN watch cap worn during WWII, the Mechanics Hat is made distinct by its short profile and deep brim, which can either be worn above the ears, or rolled down as needed. You could say there is a strong family resemblance between Heimat’s hats and their jumpers. They use the same premium virgin wool with natural self-cleaning and water-resistant properties and the same distinctive 5-gauge knit. As ever, these are lovingly made in their factory in Germany.
