This Heavyweight Moto Knit Sweater is hand-knit in Canada from virgin Canadian wool, just way they used to, carrying on the tradition of the elaborate, hand-knit sweaters manufactured and worn by the Coast Salish people of the Cowichan Valley in the early 1900s. For cold, coastal climates and other places where cosiness is strongly desired, these sweaters make the perfect outer layer. Time taken to hand-knit this style is approx 3-4 weeks per size. It is an immense amount of specialist craftsman’s hours utilised to make just one unit.
